HWMF Academy - new courses 2017


         Our introduction to music theory and vocal course is for EVERYONE who loves music and singing! Learn how to approach vocal learning systematically and how to move towards a healthy singing voice. Get familiar with the basic principles of vocal techniques like breathing, vocalizing and body posture. Acquire a basic music theoretical and practical understanding (notation reading, scales, rhythm, group-/solo-singing). After completion of the course you might like to join an advanced group.


Course/ 5 Saturdays:                   Saturday, 4th Feb. 2017 (Feb. 4; 11; 18; 25 & March 4)
Timings:                                            2-3 pm

Venue:                                                Alliance Française, Road no 3, Aurora Colony, Banjara Hills
Course Fees:                                     2400/- for 5 classes; incl. material

HWMF’S KID CLUB – VOCAL Classes ongoing

           Group vocal classes are an opportunity for young singers to learn performance, harmony and musicianship in a fun, group setting.  HWMF’s Kids Club will encourage friendship while learning elements of music and vocal technique and ensemble singing. To enrol in this class some basic musical experience is an advantage. Kid’s club video/last concert:

Course Fees:                                     1600/- per month/4 sessions (90 min.)

VIOLIN CLASSES  Classes ongoing

          Music is for everyone, regardless of age or profession. We teach at three levels - beginner, intermediate and advanced. This is an opportunity to learn/improve sightreading, rhythm, theory, practical fingering and bowing techniques. Learning a fretless instrument like violin demands constant feedback, observation, interaction and inspiration.

Course beginning:                          Saturday, Feb. 4th 2017
Timings:                                            Saturdays at 2-2.50pm beginner & 3-3.50pm advanced
Venue:                                                Goethe-Zentrum, Journalist Colony, Banjara Hills

HWMF Academy is also accepting new student applications for individual lessons on the saxophone, western flute and piano/vocal (advanced).
